My first Paris apartment had a park with a fence around it. People were walking holding umbrellas. It was painted in oils, a really wet rainy day.
I decided to paint it again in muted colors. By the time I had cleaned up the mess that had made I no longer had the building, fence, people or umbrella’s.
I had these three tree’s. With the extended time of brightening my colors I had a happy happenstance, of gloriously glazed tree’s. the glazing does not show up well here, but it is great.
Not as great as the original painting in green’s, in oil paint (again) beautifully rain slicked scene.
